Jenya has been in competitive gymnastics since three and a half years old. She graduated Belarus National Olympic School and earned Master of Sports-International Class (Elite Gymnast) at the age of 13. She was the All Around Belarus National Junior Champion in Individual, and Group competitions in 2001 and 2002. Jenya proceeded to become a professional member of Belarus National Olympic Team. From 2003 to 2006 she competed at the Grand-Prix, European and Word Championships always placing in the top three. In 2004 Jenya, as a member of Belarus National Olympic Group, competed at the Olympic Games in Athens. After retiring from the competitive sport in 2006, Jenya became a coach for Belarus National Team and successfully trained future Olympians for two years. Jenya was trained by and then closely worked with acclaimed Belarus coaches Irina Leparskaya and Tatyana Nenasheva.
Jenya holds degrees in Physical Education and Child Development from Belarusian University of Physical Education and Sports. In 2009 Jenya moved to Los Angeles and opened Burlo Gymnastics to train new generation of gymnasts.
In the past five years Jenya’s gymnasts have achieved high goals consistently placing in the top three at every level. Burlo Gymnastics’ Intermediate Group became National Champions in 2016. Jenya is also a National Team coach.
Jenya is a Professional USAG Member and is USAG Safety Certified. In the last two years she successfully completed several judging courses and became a certified level 3-8 Judge and a National Judge. She is currently working to obtain Brevet Certification.
